Dry face towels, wet wipes and reusable face cloths can serve different parts of a personal-care routine. The practical differences are what they contain when you open them, which products you use alongside them and what you do with them afterwards.
Dry face towels: choose the water and products yourself
A dry face towel is supplied without cleansing liquid. Use it dry to pat away water after washing, or dampen it to use with your own cleanser or makeup remover.
Whistle face towels are made from plant-based viscose and are designed for single use. They suit a routine where you want to choose your skincare product separately from the towel. Keep a pack near the sink, take a fresh towel when you need it, then dispose of it in a bin after use. Do not flush it.
Wet wipes: check the supplied formula
Wet wipes arrive pre-moistened. Their ingredients and intended uses depend on the particular product, so read its label to check whether it is intended for your task and how to use it.
A pre-moistened format may be convenient when that is what you want to carry. It is different from a dry face towel, which does not come with a cleansing liquid already applied. Follow the wipe manufacturer’s use and disposal instructions.
Reusable cloths: include washing in your routine
A reusable face cloth is intended to be kept and used again. Along with the cleansing step, plan for its washing, drying and storage. The cloth’s care label should guide how you wash it and care for it between uses.
